In case you missed the Petrychor full length i posted last year, or if you are just plain unfamiliar with Petrychor, here is one of 2010's pleasant surprises. Seemingly coming out of nowhere, the very talented Californian Tad Piecka shocked many with this debut EP. Thats right, just one dude here, performing vocals and playing all instruments creating some great atmospheric black metal loaded with folk and post rock elements. While he does a great job at everything he does with Petrychor i think i speak for everyone when i say that his guitar skills, both accoustic and electric, are where he really excels.
