Good to see that after the exhausted thrash revival, there are still a few newcomers with some substance. Its a fact that thrash has already reached its potential, and there isnt much originality left to be had, so re creating an atmosphere of the gods is what will impress. Diamond Plate from Illinois started in 2004, this is their debut EP from 2008 and the reason for its appearance here is that i do love thrash, and this is a good display of the kind that i have always tended to go for. Dont expect the wheel to be re invented as its not ever going to happen, just get ready to bang your head.
