Mortuary were one of Mexico's earliest death metal bands. And like most Mexican death metal, they do it right and they do it well. For many years I've been a huge fan of Mexican bands, mostly of the black and death variety with some thrash here and there, and what typically draws me to them is the passion. They typically have to work harder then most American bands, the struggle is much more intense and the music always seems to show it and they have my utmost respect. This is the debut full length from Mortuary, and is an overlooked thrashing death metal classic, soundwise, quite comparible to mid era material from The Chasm.
