"They tie you to the altar and they did your clothes away
The priest just makes them to the stand they all around her sway
The pentagram begins to glow your heart is pumping fast
This night will be your last"
Not that I'm exactly positive about this, so don't quote me, but Oz might be the first legitimate heavy metal band from Finland. Their first album titled "Heavy metal heroes" was released in 1982, the follow-up is 1983's "Fire in the Brain", which is also by far their best. While "Heavy Metal Heroes" is very generic, boring and uninspired, "Fire in the Brain" is some pummeling NWOBHM inspired face melting metal mayhem. 80's metal, the way it should be remembered. The awesome occultish lyrics were surely enough to drive Tipper Gore and her band of ugly uptight hags over the edge. Unfortunately, Oz moved away from such lyrical subjects in future released.
I consider this a real important release for the time period. It's recommended that you quit being a poser and spin this shit.
Turn the cross upside down
