When i first heard this album i was expecting something entirely different given the uber nerdy album title, something maybe a little epic or melodic, both which tend to be more or less uber nerdy. And im ok with that, i love that kind of shit, but instead of a forest dwelling black metal band from Norway you get more death metal with touches of black metal and thrash. Excellent musicianship all around which is always a plus especially when that is your strength instead of atmosphere. Overall, a good piece of Scandinavian death metal that will please you if said genre is your bag.
