I discovered this band via a flyer sent to me via Moribund Records (on a different note, i love labels who advertise music other then their own) and the description interested me, as did the Nachtmystium connection, even if ive lost most interest in that band by now. What we have here is essentially raw black metal with many experimental elements tossed in. Lots of distortion, noise, even progressive elements in some of the songwriting. Musicianship is quite good, as are the vocals, as sparsely used as they are, usually kind of at the back in the mix which is usually the way i like it when it comes to this type of black metal. If you like your black metal with experimental touches, then by all means check this out.
