Debut album from Swedens death/thrash masters Merciless. Other then being a truly amazing album it was also the first album released on Euronymous Deathlike Silence label, which is history in itself. Stylistically, i would say this album had more of an american influence via brutal thrash (slayer esque riffs) then of their brethren in Entombed, or Dismember. Vocals are kind of a raspy growl, perhaps taking some influence from the very early Scandinavian black metal scene. To put it short, this album encapsulates everything you could want from old school thrash and death metal, and more.
