Yeah i know, most of you have turned your backs of Cryptopsy, (and now also Morbid Angel) but i can never forget this fucking death metal classic. It is the perfect blend of their first and later albums, sheer brutality, technicality, unpredictable songwriting, and still had Lord Worm helming the mic. His lyrics were disturbingly poetic and elegantly written, with Flo Mounier fucking UNTOUCHABLE behind the drumkit. To this day he is one of the best drummers in extreme metal. John Levasseur was playing Suffocation riffs on steroids, no need for a rhythm guitarist. Add funky slap bass playing ala Eric Langlois to make it even more unique. Slit your guts!
