In the world of mainstream black metal (yes there is such a thing) this in my oppinion, is a band that knows how to do it right. They have a polished and well produced sound, are signed to century media, and things like this dont appeal to the darkthrone worshipping crowd. BUT, they are excellent musicians, songwriters, and are just a good band in general. I posted this album first because even those extremely (and unnecesarily) picky about their black metal would be more prone to like this over later albums, although they are excellent as well.
