Formed in 2001 in Topeka, Kansas by a couple ex Origin brutalists (among others), Unmercifully Beaten is the bands debut full length (2006) and they have yet to release anything else. As to where Origin tends to go more down the technical route Unmerciful goes more down the path of brutality, although one would have a hard time not noticing their technical prowess. Ill say that the whole "brutal death" thing, and this is just me, but i find it kinda boring, however Unmerciful are not to be lumped in with the bargain bin brutal death squads as they would easily leave most of them, well, unmercifully beaten.
