My Own Grave - Necrology

Second full length via pulverised records from this swedish death metal brigade. They arent currently ripping off Incantation, nor trying to push the technical boundaries of Death or Gorguts, therefore albums like this will most likely seep through the cracks. Its solid death metal and worth a listen nonetheless.

Makrothumia - The Rit of Individuation

Here you are, one of the best doom albums ever made, courtesy of two ex Negura Bunget members. I have never seen this gem mentioned very often and thats a crying shame. So grab an awesome progressive doom/death album made by some of metals brightest and pay tribute.

Black September - The Forbidden Gates Beyond

Initially the name turned me off (fuck me right?) but the cover art was cool, and i read some good reviews, eh im not really that hard to pursuade. What we have here is a crusty version of black metal that honestly im really not familiar with, but its crushing, scathing, and to my ears at least, fresh sounding. Imagine if Landmine Marathon went in more of a black metal direction.
