Nailgun Massacre - Backyard Butchery

I will admit that like many others im sure, i passed on listening to this album  for some time due to the name alone. I mean come on, dont tell me that Nailgun Massacre doesnt sound like some faggot deathcore band name. Not that its really a bad name, just sounds like something that very well COULD be bad. But no, this is no deathcore, or any CORE of any sort at all, just some good death metal from the Netherlands that deserves to be heard.

Axeman - Arrive (demo)

While I do support it, I am not an overly huge fan of the black twilight circle material thus far, give or take a few recordings. This demo despite its flaws is probably one of my favorites however (The Haunting Presence being my absolute favorite) as it is of a style closer to my heart then most of the rest. Said style being a type of black/death/thrash, and since i am a huge "war metal" fan, i found this a pretty easy listen.

Perkele - Erotic Circus

Finlands Perkele started off in the early 90's with a few Isengard/Storm influenced demos before releasing this sole full length via Hammerheart. The difference here however is that this is almost nothing like the demos, as they kind of went in a more gothic rock direction. I think the general consensus is that this sucks pretty bad, but hey the album has been long out of print and well, probably will always be, so...
